Outlook Makeover....

I have some exciting news! There is going to be a new retreat for Teen-Age girls called Outlook Makeover. Krista (Mitchell) Crabtree has been wanting to do something to help our girls understand how special they are to God and so as she was praying about it, she decided to start a new retreat. It will be held February 23 & 24, 2007, in Greenfield, IN at the ICHA camp grounds.

Several of the people on the Board of Directors are Krista Crabtree, Lacy Crabtree, Jennifer Glick, Jill Murray, and myself. We are all excited to see what God is going to do for us these two days.

We will be having several different speakers and will close the event with a concert with Brent Vernon (open to the general public) on Saturday evening at 5:00 PM. If you'd like to learn more about this retreat, go to www.outlookmakeover.com. The site has just been put up. We don't have a marketing director yet, so it's not as professional as we'd like it to be, but it'll get there. :)

Rev. Rollin and Deb Mitchell are our mentors and will be spending time at the retreat with us. Bro. Mitchell will be dealing with the subjects "Dealing with Rejection and Sorrow" and "Learning to Trust." These are only a couple subjects. Other speakers include Sonya Vernon, Lori Cole, and Elizabeth Welsh, along with others.

Registration is $15 before and $20 if you wait til you get there. This is just to cover the cost of the retreat and for nothing else. Please pray for us that God will use this as a time to draw closer to Him and to realize that we are all special to Him, no matter what....
